Abigale Koch
Senior Accountant
Abby’s genes are programmed to understand numbers; it runs in the family—her dad was a CPA. From an early age, she learned to enjoy the rationale and logic behind numbers. With a mix of ‘nature and nurture,’ her career in accounting is off to a great start. She also believes that her success comes from her faith and a life centered around God.
As an accountant at Primetrics, she performs multiple tasks, ranging from bank reconciliations to accounts payable and receivable, to cryptocurrency accounting, and more.
While pursuing her studies, Abby worked as an intern for several companies, including North Coast Family Fellowship, Brennan Legal Group, J. Forrest Koch, CPA, and Doty Pruett Wilson, gaining valuable experience in diverse office settings and industries.
Abby’s introduction to the accounting industry began with a game of pennies in a class at Clatsop Community College where she earned an AS in Science. From there, she excelled in the field, transferring to Western Oregon University and earning a BS in Business with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Legal Studies. Abby was named the Top Accounting Student and Valedictorian at Western Oregon University. She is continuing her studies at Western Governors University and is on track to receive an MS in Accounting in the fall of 2023.
Outside the accounting world, Abby is an artist at heart. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to sell greeting cards to local shops and create artwork for a non-profit in Nevada. Abby is also an avid, and quietly fierce, chess player.
