Daniel Lee, CPA

Accounting Manager

With extensive experience across public accounting, technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors, Daniel is passionate about implementing solutions that drive business success. His expertise lies in process improvements, project management, and navigating complex accounting challenges, including internal controls.

A proud Oregon native and University of Oregon alum, Daniel holds a CPA license. He has enjoyed a career that's taken him to different states working for KPMG and PwC before returning home and pursuing a career with Primetrics. Daniel expressed great excitement about working closely with clients to implement effective accounting solutions and add value to their financial reporting processes.

Daniel prides himself on being a proactive problem-solver. For example, he single-handedly built and implemented a CRM tool at a previous organization without any external guidance. 

Dealing with unique, multifaceted transactions—especially those involving large, complex contracts—has taught him the importance of leveraging trusted resources and networks. As Daniel transitioned from auditing to a more hands-on role, he found auditing provided valuable insights into various companies, but also saw the constraints of independence limited the ability to add value truly. This realization has led him to join the Primetrics team, where the focus shifts to delivering accounting solutions without the limitations of external auditing.

Outside of work, he is a passionate dog lover which took him 30 years to discover, but now his companion tags along almost everywhere he goes for a new adventure.
