Stephen Dabasinskas
Fractional CFO
Stephen brings over 25 years of experience as a CFO to our team, spanning across multiple industries; manufacturing, e-commerce, retail, and the home service sector. His career began with a tech startup during the Dot Com era, where his expertise in long-range planning and data-driven decision-making facilitated rapid growth and success. His ability to align financial strategy with business objectives set the foundation for his accomplished career.

Where did he go after the tech industry? He joined a private investment trust as a financial controller, gaining valuable international exposure. In this role, he deepened his understanding of the ever-evolving regulations across industries, as well as the associated financial reporting requirements.

Stephen has leveraged his expertise to help clients navigate the constantly changing standards and will continue doing so for Primetrics’ client base. As a business owner himself, he's successfully operated companies in manufacturing, e-commerce, retail, and the beauty industry. His hands-on experience in each field gives him a unique perspective and the ability to understand entrepreneurial challenges. Who better to support your business than someone who has walked that path and succeeded time and again?
Another piece Stephen brings to the table is his knowledge and understanding of mergers and acquisitions. The process is often intricate and demanding for business owners, requiring detailed financial preparation and strategic foresight to secure the best possible outcomes. With extensive experience doing so, Stephen has guided clients through these complexities and provided them with the tools to make the best-informed decision.

Stephen started this long impressive journey at UC San Diego earning a degree in Economics and a minor in Law & Society. His free time is spent exploring the Pacific Northwest, trying new craft beers, spending time with his family, and cheering on his favorite sports teams as he was a basketball player during his time at UC San Diego.
